Ski with Santa
Word on the street is, Santa is coming to town!
Santa will be at Showdown on Saturday starting at 11am. Maybe he’ll bring some snow with him.

Kids’ Camp kick-starts your child’s ski or snowboard season with three consecutive days of intensive lessons. Children will work to improve their downhill skills, learn to ride the lift system like pros, and, most importantly, have a great time!
Dates: Dec. 27, 28, & 29
Times: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
-For Skiers ages 5-13 of all ability levels
- For Snowboarders ages 8-13 of all ability levels (Must have at least 6 signed up for program to continue)
Programs are not refundable due to snow conditions, the participant's physical condition, injury, change of residence, or for any other reason. Programs are not transferable (to another person and/or date) and may not be used by anyone other than who the program is initially purchased for. All prices and dates are subject to change. All products are non-transferable and non refundable.
New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade
The Details
1. The Torchlight Parade starts when the sun sets (5:00 - 5:30pm usually) and the fireworks show quickly follows as the finale. The fireworks show is sponsored by the Great Falls Ski Patrol & Carnahan Towing & Repair, Inc.
2. It is free to watch from the base area & the bar will stay open later than usual. The kitchen will also be open later than usual selling snacks such as nachos.
3. Guests are not allowed to participate in the Torchlight Parade. All employees who want to participate in the Torchlight Parade must be approved by Operations Director, AJ Korslien.

Ski Helmet Giveaway
The Details
1. The Benefis Emergency Department's Trauma Injury Prevention Program will be at Showdown set up on the 3rd floor from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 6, giving away free ski helmets.
2. Children and adult sizes will be available.
3. MUST be present to be fitted for the helmet.
4. Helmet must fit properally in order to take it home. Team members from Benefis will be available to help with fittings.
The annual helmet giveaway is made possible by Benefis Foundation donors. THANK YOU BENEFIS for making this happen!

This event invites all freestyle skiers & boarders and is a 2 run slopestyle competition through the Terrain Park
Skiers and riders are judged on style, amplitude and trick difficulty. There are prizes given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category.
*registration fee does not include a lift ticket. A lift ticket or season pass is required to participate.

Registration/bib pick up at the lodge Garage until 10 am
Practice time for participants only is from 9:30-10:30
At 10:45 all participants must meet at top of the terrain park for an event overview, this is mandatory!

13TH ANNUAL Brock Stokke Bump Off + Tacky Attire Day
The Details
This event is in memory of Brock Stokke, a young man who passed away in 2012. One of his many passions was skiing and he loved to spend his weekends at Showdown. “Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you only have today.” His family wanted to keep his memory and spirit alive so we created the Brock Stokke Bump Off Bash.
This day is also Tacky Attire day so be sure to dress up in your tackiest outfits!
Registration fee: $20*
Registrants must check-in, sign waiver & pick up a bib in the Lodge Garage the morning of the event in order to participate. REQUIRED FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT.
Helmet recommended

All participants must meet at Top Rock for an event overview, this is mandatory!
Event Starts at 10:30
The first run: Glory Hole
The second run: Gun Barrel
The third run: Ruby
2:00pm moment of silence over the entire mountain. Participants meet at the top of the mountain for the 2pm moment of silence
The 4th run is Upper Quick with a jump at the bottom (optional)
Awards at 5pm on the deck, amazing prizes!
